I tried to attempt a Polaroid 365 at the beginning of 2009. The film price skyrocketed during the project and I could no longer justify the expense. I kept a log of the first two months, which provided descriptions of the how and why of the photos. Those descriptions are posted below with their corresponding photo.
These are some of my favorites.
The weather has been horrible for days, so I decided to get a shot of the first nice day we have had in awhile.
Tracy Wilson makes these really cool braclets out of records and I picked a few up for my friends. I used a pink exercise ball as my base and we got a ton of fun color as the outcome.
I snuck into a photograph! I had Kevin Edwards set up the shot, but I did take this picture while getting tattooed. The hands belong to artist Andrew Connor who is placing a Natas Kaupus panther image on my arm.
Graffiti on the side of plaza art.
Duckpin Bowling alley. Brett in form.
This motorcycle was screaming to have its photo taken since the project began. The weather was miserable today and the bleak color of the sky made the red color of the cycle explode.
I spent most of my last day in SF with Adam going to concrete skateparks. Adam is a ripper as you can see by this photo.
Loved the green, red, and yellow pairing. Recycle!
Saw this walking down the road during a lunch break. Cropping worked out really well.
This is my favorite photo in this journey so far. This is the Eatery in Carytown. I work right down the street and this is the only sign of this nature for many blocks. I was going to get a shot of the print shop I used to work at and left without doing. While at the bank a few minutes later, this old signage hit me. Stoked.
